Artist Bio

The Soul Family Band are a 7-piece garage/soul project formed by Neil Soiland, formerly of The Creation Factory, and The Premonitions. The band's debut EP "Neil Soiland Presents: The Soul Family Band" was released in November 2025. The EP emerged from a moment of creative exhaustion. A planned two-week escape to Spain became an unplanned detour to London, leading him to Hackney's Sausage Studios - and within two days, a new set of songs had taken shape.

Short but in constant motion, the EP is loose, airy, and free. Soiland plays most instruments himself, augmented by a rotating cast of L.A. collaborators: flute, saxophone, percussion, fuzzed guitars, and more. Tracks shift shape to suit each song, forming a flexible, collaborative ensemble.
